Launch of the 2024 Critical Trends Report

This launch of the 2024 Critical Trends Report presents highlights from “Towards Economic and Climate Justice: A Feminist Analysis of Critical Trends,” published by WEDO in December 2024.

The report, available in 4 languages, examines progress and challenges in four thematic areas: 1) debt, 2) the Bretton Woods Institutions (the World Bank and International Monetary Fund), 3) taxation, and 4) climate finance.

In this launch webinar (held on 12 February 2025), lead author Arimbi Wahono (Shared Planet) provides an overview of the report, followed by three feminist respondents: Julia Gerlo of Fundación Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (FARN); Naomi Nyamweya of the Malala Fund; and Shereen Talaat of MENA Fem Movement for Economic, Development, and Ecological Justice.
