MenaFem at IMF – Civil Society Forum Spring Meetings 2026
As we engage in the ongoing IMF–World Bank Spring Meetings in 2026, the MenaFem Movement for Economic, Development, and Ecological Justice, in collaboration with regional and global partners, is contributing to a series of sessions and discussions throughout this period.
This year’s engagement aims to bring forward civil society and feminist perspectives on economic justice, ecological sustainability, debt, and structural reform in the MENA region and beyond.
These discussions offer an important space to reflect on dominant economic models that continue to shape inequality, climate challenges, and social exclusion across the Global South. Together with our partners, we are exploring the intersections of gender, climate justice, debt, and economic sovereignty, while highlighting the need for more just and people-centered alternatives.
We invite you to follow and engage with these conversations as they unfold, and to join us in advancing more equitable, feminist, and decolonial approaches to global economic governance.
