Farah Galal: Gender and Economic Justice Officer
Farah Galal is an intersectional feminist researcher with extensive experience in gender advocacy, socioeconomic research, and program management. Her work focuses on gender, socioeconomic justice, human rights, and sexual and reproductive justice. Before joining MENAFem, she was a researcher at the Access to Knowledge for Development Center and worked in the Gender & Human Rights unit at EIPR. She has contributed to research and advocacy projects on gender, labor, informal economies, socioeconomic justice, debt, social security, SOGIESC, and reproductive justice. Farah holds a BA in Anthropology with a minor in Economics from the American University in Cairo.
