MENA Fem Movement for Economical, Development and Ecological Justice

MENAFem Movement at the IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings 2024: Schedule of Events

As we look ahead to the upcoming IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings 2024, MENA Fem Movement for Economic, Development, and Ecological Justice, in collaboration with our regional and global partners, are excited to announce various sessions and side events we are hosting and co-hosting. This year’s program, which includes sessions as part of the Civil Society Policy Forum (CSPF), as well as independently organized side events, aims to amplify civil society and feminist voices and perspectives on economic justice, ecological sustainability, debt relief, and systemic reform in the MENA region and beyond.

These events provide a crucial platform to challenge the dominant economic paradigms that drive inequality, climate crises, and social exclusion in the Global South. Along with our partners, we will address the intersections of gender, climate justice, debt, and economic sovereignty, offering alternatives that center wellbeing, justice, and human rights.

We invite you to join us in these important discussions, as we work together to reshape the global economic architecture and advance feminist, decolonial, and people-centered economic frameworks.

Below is the schedule for MENAFem Movement’s participation at the IMF-WB Annual Meetings 2024, including both CSPF sessions and our side events.
